Tel Aviv University Summer Session Campus Program
A four-week campus program is offered to academically qualified university students. Students may earn credits for this program. There is a beginners Hebrew course as well as the following courses offered:
- Israeli Politics
- Modern Jewish History
- Introduction to Judaism
- Arab Israeli Conflict: The Palestinians
- Biography as History: The Zionist Revolution and The People Who Made It.

University of Haifa Intensive Hebrew Summer Ulpan
The Summer Ulpan brings together students from over 40 countries who immerse themselves in an intensive Hebrew language experience. Instruction is offered on all levels, from elementary to advanced.
The Ulpan is divided into two independent four-week sessions. Each Ulpan session offers the full range of studies on all levels of proficiency. You may register for either or both of the sessions offered.
Classes are held on Sunday through Thursday mornings for five academic hours per day. A variety of learning tools are used in the classroom, including work in the language laboratory, computer and video sessions, as well as guest lectures and interviews. You will be given a great deal of personal attention by our exceptional Ulpan staff.

Weizmann Institute Foundation
Dr Bessie F. Lawrence Summer Science Institute
An opportunity to work alongside top Weizmann Institute researchers, as well as experiencing life in Israel today. Most of the program is held on the campus. Studies are divided into Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Sciences. Lab. work centers on current research topics: immunology, cell biology, lasers, the use of computers in modeling and simulation.
- Each participant may choose a subject according to his or her own interest with the schedule allowing for free time, social activities and discussion groups etc.
- Also included is time spent in a field school in the Negev and a tour of Jerusalem.
- Duration of this program is one month in the summer.
- This program is very intensive and designed only for students demonstrating excellence in the field of science. Applications are assessed by a panel including scientists. The final selections are made through interview.

Students at TAKA or Mechina Programs are not entitled to an academic summer ulpan as they study Hebrew within the framework of these programs.
The Conservative Yeshiva Summer Hebrew Ulpan
The Conservative Yeshiva Summer Hebrew Ulpan is an opportunity to study Hebrew intensively for a short period of time in a small, congenial class as part of the popular Conservative Yeshiva Summer Program for college and post-college students from around the world. The top-notch Hebrew Ulpan teachers, motivated fellow students, and location in central Jerusalem combine to make this a premier Hebrew language experience.
Five levels of modern Hebrew study are offered, including reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and Israeli culture.

Session II July 22 to August 9, 2012
Courses are not repetitive – you may attend for three or six weeks. Hebrew Ulpan courses take place Sunday through Thursday, 9 am to 12:30 pm. For those interested in a full-day program, the Summer Hebrew Ulpan can be combined with the Conservative Yeshiva Volunteer and Study Summer Program and the Summer Learning Program.
