Helena Glaser is Chairperson of World WIZO Executive and Chairperson of the Voluntary and Non-Profit Sector in Israel. She is a former Chairperson of WIZO Israel. In addition, Glaser was elected as Vice President of the World Jewish Congress; she is Chairperson of the Voluntary and Non-Profit Sector in Israel and she serves on the Publich Council for the Commemoration of Theodore Herzl.
In 1994, she was a member of the Israeli delegation to the 38th UN Committee on the Status of Women in New York. In 1995, she was part of the Israeli delegation to the 4th World Conference of Women in Beijing.
Helena Glaser was born in Romania and emigrated to Israel as a child. She lived in the United States for ten years, where she studied at New York University.
Helena Glaser has been an Associate Member of the Board of Governors since June 2002. She is a Board Member since October 2004.
